New Low Profile 18 Amp, 3.5 kV GH3 Relay Solves Packaging Problems
Santa Barbara, CA – GIGAVAC®, today’s expert in high voltage relays, announces a new low profile, low cost, 18 Amp 3.5 kV single pole double throw (SPDT) high voltage relay that solves many of the high-density packaging problems encountered with other high voltage relays.
The new GIGAVAC GH3 is less than ¾ inch in diameter and comes with hardware for panel mounting, keeping the high voltage and control circuits far apart to eliminate cross talk and any chance of wiring failures. With the GH3, a PC board is not necessary and the exclusive GIGAVAC changeable coil feature allows users to change the coil even after the relay has been installed.
The GH3 can be mounted in any direction and can carry 18 Amps continuously at temperatures up to +125°C. Coil voltages are 12 Vdc, 26.5 Vdc & 115 Vdc with specials available upon request.
According to Jim Lanum, GIGAVAC’s Vice President of Sales “The new GIGAVAC GH3 is a form C, single pole double throw, SPDT, relay that replaces the older style Kilovac HC-3 and the Jennings RJ1H relays.” Lanum continues, “We sell the relays directly to our customers, without going through a distributor. This translates into tremendous savings for the buyer.” The new GIGAVAC GH3 relay is available from stock at GIGAVAC’s headquarters in Santa Barbara California.
The GH3 normally sells for $101 in 100 piece quantities,
but for 2003, GIGAVAC is offering a special 25% discount that makes the
GH3 available for $76. GIGAVAC accepts VISA, Master Card & American
Express and has same day shipment at no additional charge.
