GIGAVAC WELCOMES 42-YEAR INDUSTRY EXPERT
BOB HANSEN AS CHIEF SCIENTIST
Santa Barbara, California - Mike Molyneux, President of GIGAVAC®, today's expert in high voltage relays, is proud to announce the appointment of Bob Hansen as Chief Scientist, a new executive level management position in the fast-growing firm. Hansen will be responsible for continued innovation in the design and manufacture of HV relays as well as future developments and additions to the GIGAVAC product line.
Hansen has 42 years of experience in the high voltage relay and capacitor industry. He is the holder of seven key patents that are still used in the industry today. Most recently, Hansen has worked world-wide as an independent engineering consultant from 1999-2006. Previously, he served as Vice-President of Engineering for Jennings Technology and held key management roles there from 1958-1999. Hansen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Physics & Math from San Jose State University; and completed graduate-level work in Materials Science and Business Administration. He is life member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and ASM (American Society for Metals).
