New 35 kV 12 A Relay Ready for User Potting - Saves Time, Space & Money
Santa Barbara, CA – GIGAVAC is pleased to announce the availability of the G60C, a new 35 kV relay, ready for user encapsulation.
The new G60C is a single pole double throw, SPDT, high voltage relay filled with SF6 gas ensuring years of failure free low leakage service, with the ability to handle highly capacitive loads. The relay's ceramic envelope is un-glazed, reducing preparation time and providing a surface for most potting materials to easily adhere. The G60C is 27 mm in diameter, 37 mm tall, and comes with hardware for an M20 threaded panel mounting, keeping the high voltage and control circuits far apart to eliminate cross talk and chance of shorts to the coil circuit. It is available with 12 Vdc, 26.5 Vdc, and 115 Vdc coils and special coil voltages upon request.
The G60C comes with GIGAVAC's exclusive changeable coil feature that allows users to change the coil even after the relay has been installed.
High voltage relays are often pre-potted by the relay manufacturer making the relays larger and more costly than needed. Unpotted relays, if available, are typically sold only in large quantities, prohibiting the small and mid-size manufacturers the opportunity to compete. GIGAVAC is pleased to offer this relay in small, affordable quantities.
The G60C sells for $238 each in quantities of 50 pieces and it is in stock for immediate delivery. According to Lanum, GIGAVAC's VP of Sales, "This about half the price you would pay for an equivalent potted relay from other manufacturers." GIGAVAC accepts VISA, Master Card and American Express and have the G60C in stock for same day shipment.
